What a crazy few months for the team at All Seasons Wax Company!
After setting out 12 months ago with a goal to produce a range of ready-to-use, premium candle waxes we have been on quite a journey. 
We made a conscious business decision to involve real candle makers in the development process through an interactive sampling campaign in which we produced 6 tonnes of wax and distributed it around Australia (and the world) for free - with charges made only to cover freight.

Safe to say this was a great learning experience for a new business - we had open discussion with candle makers on a daily basis, learnt from them, traded tips and in the end - improved the overall product.

Through this sampling period we discovered minor issues with a couple of the wax blends - we have worked tirelessly with a leading Australian analytics laboratory and the wax manufacturer and shredding plant to tweak the formulas to achieve our desired outcomes - and it's safe to say we're very happy with the results.
The A05 and A27 waxes we're tweaked to reduce the 'puckering' and cracking which sometimes occurred in cold conditions. We did not change the waxes, rather, we improved them.

Perhaps the biggest thing to come from distributing and allowing candle makers to test the wax was the creation an development of our newest wax option the S16 Deluxe Soy.

The S16 Deluxe Soy has been designed with the outcome in mind to achieve premium soy appearance after just one pour.  S16 Deluxe Soy has a thicker consistency than the other 3 waxes and with the addition of a plant based emulsifier the wax binds together with fragrance, and helps the candle retain a smooth, creamy appearance.
