Performance Soy Blend A27
The Performance Soy Blend A27 by All Seasons Wax Company is a carefully formulated soy blend designed to perform consistently in warmer and more volatile conditions. Nicknamed our ‘summer blend’ this wax has improved stability when compared to most other waxes on the market. It has been designed with toughness and durability, meaning that it will resist sweating in hotter climates and can cope with higher fragrance loads and more potent oils.
Its unique formulation also has greater fragrance binding properties which restricts oil excretion, leaving an impressive smooth surface.
A27 also works great for melts & moulds!
The Performance Soy Blend A27 is the result of an extensive, 12 month laboratory testing period where we explored different waxes and hundreds of different blend ratios to finally achieve a container wax which has outstanding hot and cold scent throw and as mentioned above, performs consistently in volatile climates or under strong UV lighting conditions (common in many retail showrooms).

Liquefaction Point : Peak melting temperature 53°C
Congealing Point: Congealing temperature 45°C
Suggested Heating Range: Range of heating 80°C - 92°C*
Suggested Pouring Range: Generally between 62°C - 72°C
Suggested Max Fragrance Load: 6-10%^ - this depends on the potency of the fragrance so testing is required.
Contents: Made up primarily of natural soy bean and blended with smaller portions sustainably sourced, certified palm wax, premium grade paraffin wax and a unique plant based additive.

*Prolonged heating about 85°C can cause discolouration.
^ Value dependant on the quality and potency of the fragrance so testing is required for optimum results. This will also vary on type of oil used, i.e. fragrance oil or essential oil, etc. Please note, the standard fragrance load for Scents by LCS Fragrance Oils are commonly 6-8% but variations will be dependant on the potency of the oil.

Consistency
It is widely recognised that performance consistency is the foundation of any great wax. Once your ideal fragrance ratio has been identified through your own testing, the Performance Soy Blend A27 wax will not disappoint. We believe this wax is the most durable soy based wax available on the market. Other waxes tend to sweat and even excrete oil when the temperature rises due to the wax expanding and needed to escape. One of the unique traits of this wax is the ability to resist sweat, resulting in a gorgeous, smooth burn and a creamy yet firm surface.
Anti-Sweat/Anti-Shrink
Another trait unique to All Seasons Wax is the Anti Sweat & Anti Shrink properties which we've worked hard to achieve.
Performance Soy Blend A27 wax has been developed firm enough so that even in harsh heat or light the wax won't expand to release excess oil - and any visible sweating will only be very minor.
This blend is our most durable wax - we guarantee you'll love working with it!
Scent throw
While scent-throw is also dictated by the percentage and the strength of difference fragrances, the wax used to make the candle still has a large impact on hot and cold scent throw. Being a blended wax - Performance Blend A27 contains a percentage of premium grade paraffin oil which is far superior than soy for retaining fragrance and fusing oil with wax, this results in an amazing hot and cold scent throw.
Fragrance
Through our testing - many fragrance and essential oils work with Performance Blend A27, and it is our most durable and forgiving blend. It would be impossible for us to test every single fragrances compatibility so what we suggest is trialling to find what works best for you.
The maximum fragrance load we would recommend is 12% but of course this depends on your fragrance as strength, and potency varies between oils.
Appearance
The inspiration to launch All Seasons Wax Co stemmed from the demand in the market for a range of waxes which perform consistently despite changing conditions. Our range includes blends which perform best in warmer climates (preventing sweating and oil excretion) to blends which are designed to resist frosting and wax shrinkage.
Shelf Life & Burn Time
Our waxes have all been designed and developed with consistency and stability in mind. Whilst burn time is heavily controlled by the size of the jar and the wick, across the board with All Seasons Wax you can expect consistency.
As this blend of wax is new we can only guarantee+12 month shelf life for candles produced with Performance Soy Blend A27, however you can expect a stable and attractive shelf life of around 3 years.
